COMEDY | Fuck Me Ray Bradbury


Rachel Bloom is an actress, writer and comedian based out of NYC. She graduated from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts in 2009 with a B.F.A in drama, having studied with the CAP 21 musical theater studio, Experimental Theater Wing, and the International Theater Workshop in Amsterdam. At NYU, she was also the director of Hammerkatz, NYU’s premier sketch comedy group. Rachel has studied improv under Shannon O’Neill, Anthony King, Zach Woods, Chris Gethard and Michael Delaney. She has also studied sketch under Eric Drysdale. Rachel performs standup all around New York City and hosts a standup show called “Annette Funicello’s Beach Party” every last Monday of the month at National Underground.   1. Really funny and catchy! I can’t get the music out of my head or stop hearing the refrain. What a laugh. I think it is even funnier if you’ve seen a picture of or heard an interview with Ray Bradbury. He’s brilliant and 90 years old. I’m so looking forward to seeing Rachel’s stand up at the Mad Hatter party. Thanks for introducing readers to her work.

  2. The tune is extremely catchy and this might actually draw more people to reading his books. Since Mr. Bradbury recently celebrated his 90th birthday on 22 August, I would think that he would be flattered if he didn’t have a coronary first. Rachel turned out an infectious little number. Here’s to Rachel and Ray: may Rachel keep us laughing while Mr. Bradbury keeps us reading for years to come (uh, no pun intended there).
